SCHOOL MEALS

In Wales, all primary school children are eligible for universal free school

meals, regardless of their household income or benefit status. This means

that every child attending a primary school, receives a free, nutritious meal

every school day. Children who do not have school meals may bring a

packed lunch. To support our healthy school ethos we request that packed

lunches are healthy in nature, placed in a clearly marked container and

those drinks (preferably water) are brought in unbreakable bottles

or cartons.

Nut free School

At Llanfaes we aim to be a Nut-Free school. The school aims to

protect children who have allergies to nuts and help all our pupils

to take responsibility as to what foods we can eat and be aware

of where they may be put at risk. We do not allow nuts or nut

products in school lunch boxes.
